About Me

Charles Winecoff
I am a native of North Carolina, USA and received my BA in Architecture from the School of Design at North Carolina State University. I then lived and worked in New York City and Connecticut until I moved to Santa Fe in 2005 to pursue painting full time. I began private art lessons at age seven. These continued until about age sixteen. The School of Design offered a wide variety of art classes in addition to those inl architecture and engineering. I studied painting under Duncan Stuart and manuel Bromberg, sculpture with Roy Gussow and photography with Sam Rosenberg. Buckminster Fuller conducted a three month student project every year. My exposure to these professionals has had a lasting effect on all my work.
